o-iodo-N,N-dimethyl-Aniline is a synthetic molecule that has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria in vitro. It is a carboxy radical mechanism with halides and polymer film. This molecule also displays biomolecular and heterocycles that are resistant to o-iodo-N,N-dimethyl-Aniline. The optical properties of this compound have been studied using a polystyrene film. A pyridine ring accepts an electron from the methylene group, forming an imine bond between the two groups.
