O-Isobutylhydroxylamine, HCl is an alkynyl group with a hydroxymethyl group at one end. The alkynyl group is connected to a hydrogen atom on the other end. The compound exists as two stereoisomers, S and R. The S form has a chlorine atom on the hydroxymethyl carbon and the R form does not. Halides are found on both ends of the molecule.
