It has a fast response time, which is useful for separating compounds with similar retention times. This stationary phase has been shown to be compatible with a variety of mobile phases such as water, methanol, acetone, acetonitrile and dichloromethane. 4-(1H-Indol-3-yl)butan-2-one can be used at temperatures ranging from 0°C to 110°C and has been shown to be stable up to 160°C. This stationary phase has also been shown to have a low backpressure and reequilibration time.
