Description:
4-Iodopyrimidine pyrimidine is a synthetic compound that is used in the treatment of cancer. It is a chloride salt of 4-iodopyrimidine and pyridazine and may be synthesized from diazines, such as 2,4-dichloroquinoline, or 2,4-dimethylaniline. 4-Iodopyrimidine pyrimidine can also be made by converting dialkylamides to their corresponding amines. This drug has been found to inhibit the growth of cancer cells and selectively inhibits protein kinases to prevent the proliferation of cancer cells.
