Description

Iron(III) phthalocyanine chloride (FePcCl3) is a catalyst that is used to catalyze the reaction of amines and chlorides in acidic media. It can be used in organic synthesis to produce organic amines from ammonia and chloroformates or to convert nitriles into amides. FePcCl3 has been shown to have a linear response with respect to concentration and its rate of reaction has been shown to depend on the activation energy.
