1H-Indol-3-amine hydrochloride is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of monoacetyl, isocyanate, acylation, and reductive amines. It reacts with hydrogenolysis to produce an isocyanate. It can also be reacted with benzenesulfonyl chloride to produce an alkylating agent. 1H-indol-3-amine hydrochloride can react with chloroform in the presence of heat to form chloromethanesulfonic acid. This chemical compound can also be reacted with alkali or azides to form urethanes or azo compounds respectively.
