Product Information
- 5-Isoquinolineboronic acid
- 5-Isoquinolylboronic Acid Hydrochloride
Isoquinoline-5-boronic acid is a tetranuclear compound that can be used as an intermediate for organic synthesis, including the synthesis of boronic esters and other functional groups. The molecular structure of this compound was determined experimentally by single crystal x-ray diffraction. Isoquinoline-5-boronic acid has been shown to bind to tyrosine kinase receptors, which are involved in cellular signaling pathways and are present on many cancer cells. It also binds to factor receptors and inhibits their enzymatic activity.
