Description:

Isoindolin-1-one is a chemical compound that is used as a reagent in biological studies. It has antiangiogenic properties and has been shown to have an effect on the skeleton. Isoindolin-1-one can also inhibit the growth of hl-60 cells, which are human leukemic cells. It binds to 5HT2 receptors and inhibits the production of amines, fatty acids, and phospholipids by inhibiting protein synthesis. Isoindolin-1-one also has immune suppressive effects, which may be due to its ability to inhibit anhydrous sodium transport across cell membranes.
