Description:
6-Iodopyridazin-3-amine is an analog of pyridazine that can be used as a cross-coupling agent in organic synthesis. It is also a potent growth factor analogue. 6-Iodopyridazin-3-amine has been shown to have anticancer and antiangiogenic properties in mammalian cells and has been found to inhibit the proliferation of Toxoplasma gondii. 6-Iodopyridazin-3-amine is selective for protein kinases, which may be due to its ability to bind to the ATP binding site on the enzyme.
