4,4'-Isopropylidenediphenol Dimethacrylate is a reactive cross-linking agent that can be used as a sealant or to form polymer films. It has been shown to have genotoxic effects in the presence of human serum and cells, inhibiting DNA synthesis and causing cell death. The clinical relevance of this chemical is not yet determined.
