Description:
Indole-3-boronic acid is a synthetic compound that has been used in the synthesis of natural products. It has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of protein kinases, including c-jun N terminal kinases, which are involved in cellular proliferation and tumorigenesis. Indole-3-boronic acid also inhibits human cancer cell lines with high levels of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K). It is an efficient boronating agent for the preparation of indoles and macrocycles.
