Description

Isopropyl 3-(3,4-difluorobenzoyl)-1,1-dimethyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydroazepino[4,5-b]indole-5-carboxylate is a pharmaceutical drug that is used to treat chronic kidney disease and liver cells. It has been shown to reduce the accumulation of fat in the liver by inhibiting the activity of lipogenic enzymes. Isopropyl 3-(3,4-difluorobenzoyl)-1,1-dimethyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydroazepino[4,5-b]indole-5-carboxylate also inhibits dopamine release in the striatum and binding to dopamine receptors in the brain. This drug has been shown to be clinically effective for patients with hepatic steatosis (fatty liver).
