Indolizine-2-carboxylic acid is a ligand that interacts with an antimicrobial agent. It has been shown to be active against Propylphosphonic acid, Phenacyl, and Nitrogen atom. Indolizine-2-carboxylic acid also has antibacterial activity against lactamase and amines. Indolizine-2-carboxylic acid is pharmacologically active in the stabilization of hypoglycemic activities, which may be due to its interaction with the active site of Propylphosphonic acid.
