Indium hexafluoropentanedionate (InPF) is a heat-resistant, hydroxyl group-containing organometallic compound that is used in the production of polymer films. It can be used as a precursor for a variety of inorganic materials, such as fluorine-containing polymers and particles. InPF is also useful as an optical system, introducing agent, or absorber material. As an inorganic material, InPF has been shown to be reactive with water vapor and other organic compounds.
