Description

4-(Isopropyl)-2-[3-(Trifluoromethyl)Phenyl]Morpholine Hydrochloride is an antidepressant drug with a chemical structure that is similar to that of the neurotransmitter norepinephrine. It is one of the active metabolites of amitriptyline and has been shown to have clinical efficacy in the treatment of chronic schizophrenia. This drug has been shown to inhibit toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) expression in human dendritic cells, which may account for its immunosuppressive effects. In addition, this drug has been shown to have a potential interaction with substrates such as monoamine oxidases, cytochrome P450 enzymes, and other antidepressants.
