Cimicifugasäure B is a phenolic acid that is found in the plant Cimicifuga foetida. It has been shown to have anti-cancer effects against various cancer cell lines, including MCF-7 cells, as well as anti-inflammatory activities. Cimicifugasäure B also shows a protective effect against colon cancer and ulcerative colitis. This compound has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria, fungi, and yeasts in the laboratory setting. It has also been identified in urine samples from patients with urinary tract infections. This compound is a reactive phenolic acid that can be used for the treatment of inflammatory diseases such as asthma and arthritis.
