Product Information
K7174-2HCl is a plant health product that is used to control or prevent phytopathogenic fungi in agricultural crops. It has been shown to be effective against the following fungi: Alternaria, Ascochyta, Cercospora, Colletotrichum, Curvularia, Dactylopius, Fusarium, Macrophomina, Mycosphaerella, Phyllosticta and Rhizoctonia. K7174-2HCl is a reactive prenyl transferase inhibitor that binds to fungal polyketide synthase (PKS) enzyme and inhibits biosynthesis of sterols. This inhibition causes disruption of cell membrane integrity and cell death. K7174-2HCl has not been shown to cause fatalities in mammals or birds; however it may cause dermatitidis in mammals.
