Description

Latanoprost is a prostaglandin analogue that lowers intraocular pressure by increasing the outflow of aqueous humor from the eye. Latanoprost is an impurity, which means it is not the active ingredient. It has been found to have low levels of impurities such as chloride, benzalkonium chloride, and method development. The study drug was prepared by chromatography in acetonitrile and eluted with water. The nature of the study drug was determined with radiation and found to be a clear liquid.
