Lithium tellurate is a hydroxyl-containing inorganic compound. It has the chemical formula Li2TeO3 and the molecular weight of 590.25 g/mol. Lithium tellurate can be synthesized by reacting lithium hydroxide with telluric acid or potassium tellurate, which is made from the reaction between potassium chloride and sodium tellurite. Lithium tellurate has been shown to be resistant to nitrate and erbium ions.
