Description

Levo mepromazine maleate is a drug that is used to treat various autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis. It is also used to treat bowel disease and the nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy. Levo mepromazine is an antihistamine with sedative properties. It inhibits the reuptake of dopamine in the central nervous system, which leads to increased concentrations of this neurotransmitter in the brain. Levo mepromazine binds to specific receptors in prostate cancer cells and decreases their proliferation.
