Lithium molybdate is a compound that has the empirical formula Li 2 MoO 4 and is composed of lithium, molybdenum, and oxygen. It appears as a white solid with a tetragonal crystal structure. Lithium molybdate has been shown to be insoluble in water, but soluble in ethanol and acetone.
