Description:

Lithium molybdate is a compound that has the empirical formula Li 2 MoO 4 and is composed of lithium, molybdenum, and oxygen. It appears as a white solid with a tetragonal crystal structure. Lithium molybdate has been shown to be insoluble in water, but soluble in ethanol and acetone. The solubility data for lithium molybdate was determined by measuring the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) at various frequencies and temperatures. Lithium molybdate has been shown to have high resistance to oxidation by air and moisture, which makes it chemically stable. This compound is also resistant to heat, reducing agents, acids, alkalis, and bases. Lithium molybdate can absorb monocarboxylic acids from its environment by adsorption mechanism. When exposed to light at wavelengths between 400-700 nm, lithium molybdate emits red fluorescent light. The optical properties of this
