Description:
L-Lysine ethyl ester dihydrochloride is a polymeric form of L-lysine that is used for the treatment of cardiac diseases. It has been shown to be effective in tissue culture and cell culture studies, where it promotes the growth of cells by stimulating the production of growth factor β1. L-Lysine ethyl ester dihydrochloride has also been shown to be degradable and biodegradable, which may be due to its l-lysine backbone.
