Lead subacetate ACS is a matrix effect that inhibits the growth of cancer cells. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro by interfering with the membrane system and inhibiting the production of fatty acids and growth factors. Lead subacetate ACS also prevents carcinogenesis in animals by preventing phosphotungstic acid from binding to DNA, which prevents the formation of carcinogenic metabolites. This product is a pharmaceutical preparation that contains lead subacetate for use in cavity preparations. It can be used as a substitute for hydrochloric acid or phosphotungstic acid, which are acidic components of cavity preparations, because it has a neutralizing effect on hydrochloric acid. Lead subacetate ACS also has anti-inflammatory properties due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis.
