Lucidenic acid D is a reactive molecule that is found in the fungus Ganoderma lucidum. Lucidenic acid D also inhibits bacterial growth by binding to their DNA and inhibiting transcription. This compound has a low toxicity level, with no adverse effects on human macrophages or kidney function.
