- Acetic acid, trifluoro-, lithium salt
- LITHIUM TRIFLUOROACETATE
Lithium trifluoroacetate is a reactive, hydroxyl-containing compound that can be used to prepare substrates for film deposition. It is a substrate for the preparation of thin films with an asymmetric synthesis. Lithium trifluoroacetate reacts with sodium trifluoroacetate to form lithium trifluoroacetate salt, which is then heated with hydrogen fluoride gas to produce the final product. Lithium trifluoroacetate has relatively high transport properties and can be used as a solvent in organic reactions. The activation energy for its reaction with hydrogen fluoride gas is 44 kcal/mol.
