Description:
1-Methyl-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-5-ol is a hydrogen bond donor. It has been shown to react as an alkylating agent with methylhydrazine, which leads to the formation of chains with a 1,2,3-trisubstituted pyrazole moiety. The crystal structure of the compound has been determined and it was found to be an isomer. The compound's selectivity for the disordered state is high and it has been shown to have a high selectivity for the methyl hydrazine molecule in its reaction.
