4-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-1,3-thiazol-2-amine is a compound that is oxidized at the electrode surface. It has been used as an electrode material for cyclic voltammetry and cyclic voltammetric analysis. 4-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-1,3-thiazol-2-amine has also been used in polymerization reactions with hydrochloric acid as the monomer and with various concentrations of HCl. The reaction parameters are dependent on the concentration of HCl, acid concentration, and other factors such as temperature and time.
