Description

3-Methylbutanohydrazide is a hydroxyl-containing compound that is used as an intermediate in the preparation of polymers. 3-Methylbutanohydrazide can be used to synthesize allyl compounds, which are useful as stabilizers in polymers. It is also used as a reagent for the synthesis of acid derivatives and unsaturated moieties, which are utilized in polymerization reactions. 3-Methylbutanohydrazide has been shown to stabilize elastomers and carbon black during production.
