Description:
(4-Methoxy-3,5-dimethylpyridin-2-yl)methylamine dihydrochloride (DMP) is a radical that is used for hydrogenation reactions. DMP can be hydrolyzed to form hydroxymethyldihydropyridine and methylamine. It has been shown to be a good catalyst for catalytic hydrogenation of unsaturated fatty acids.
