N-Methyl-N-[2-(4-methylpiperazin-1-yl)-2-oxoethyl]amine is a phenolic thermoplastic that is colourless and has a strong odour. It is heat sensitive, donating, alkylene, alkenyl, reversible, lactone ring, electron, colour and lactone. N-Methyl-N-[2-(4-methylpiperazin-1-yl)-2-oxoethyl]amine has the ability to reversibly form lactones by cyclization of hydroxy groups.
