Description

1-[(4-Methylphenyl)sulfonyl]acetone is a polymerized aromatic hydrocarbon that is used in the production of aliphatic polyesters and thermoplastics. It can also be used as a starting material for the synthesis of other organic compounds. 1-[(4-Methylphenyl)sulfonyl]acetone is not acutely toxic, but it may cause skin irritation and dermatitis if it comes into direct contact with skin.
