[(4-Methylphenyl)(phenyl)methyl]amine hydrochloride is a peptide that inhibits the activity of protease enzymes. It has been shown to have cytotoxic properties against prostate cancer cells and also inhibits bacterial growth by binding to cell surface receptors. [(4-Methylphenyl)(phenyl)methyl]amine hydrochloride is insoluble in water, which may be due to its disulfide bond.
