Description:
N-Methylcyclopentanamine hydrochloride is a hydroxyl donor that inhibits the activity of enzymes such as hydroxylases, transaminases, and alcohol dehydrogenase. It can be used to treat inflammatory bowel disease, cirrhosis, radiation injury, inflammation due to cancer or hepatitis, and metabolic disorders. N-Methylcyclopentanamine hydrochloride is also an inhibitor of ns3 protease that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties in a rat model of colitis.
