Description:

1-Methyl-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid is a protonated carbazole with an excited state. It has been shown to produce fluorescence properties when it reacts with an electron acceptor. 1-Methyl-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid is a pyrrole that is used in the synthesis of carbazoles and other organic compounds. The compound also has the ability to form gaseous products when heated. It can be used as a precursor for malonic acid, methyl groups, and p2 group hydrogen peroxide, which are used in certain organic reactions. 1-Methyl-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid can also be used to synthesize tropane alkaloids, which have strong optical properties.
