Description

5-Methyl-2H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid is a compound that is found in the human body and it is involved in energy metabolism. It has been experimentally shown to affect the kinetic energy and adipose tissue of mice. This compound has also been used as a ligand for chelate binding to α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, which are important for the transmission of signals between neurons and muscles. 5-Methyl-2H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid is also an experimental model system for studying pharmacological agents, such as zirconium oxide and glomerular filtration rate. The polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique can be used to measure the amount of 5 methyl 2H pyrazole 3 carboxylic acid by measuring the fluorescence intensity of its fluorescent derivative.
