Description:
3-(4-Methoxyphenyl)propyl]amine (3MPPA) is a chemical compound that has been found to have an anti-allergic activity. This drug has been shown to decrease the release of histamine and other inflammatory substances from mast cells, which may be due to its inhibition of the enzyme ATPase. 3MPPA also acts as a vasodilator, which may be due to its effect on blood pressure. 3MPPA is currently being studied for its potential use in depression and anxiety disorders.
