4-methoxy benzene-1,3-diamine dihydrochloride is an organic chemical compound that can be used as a precursor in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals. The time needed for this reaction to take place is dependent on the concentration of hydrogen peroxide and incubation time. The product formed by this reaction has been found to induce mutations in melanogaster and human lymphocytes.
