Description:
4-Methoxy-2-nitrobenzene-1-sulfonyl chloride is an expansion agent that inhibits the activity of matrix metalloproteinases, specifically those involved in inflammation. It is a trisubstituted trifluoroacetic acid with a traceless, solid-phase synthesis to provide a mononuclear blood assay. 4-Methoxy-2-nitrobenzene-1-sulfonyl chloride has been shown to reduce the production of inflammatory cytokines, such as TNFα, by inhibiting the activity of metalloproteinases and their substrates.
