Description:

Methyl 3-(chlorosulfonyl)benzoate is an anti-proliferative compound that inhibits cancer cells. It selectively inhibits the histone deacetylase (HDAC) enzyme, which regulates gene expression and promotes tumor growth. Methyl 3-(chlorosulfonyl)benzoate has been shown to inhibit HDAC2, the most common form of HDAC found in neuroblastoma cells. This drug has also been shown to have a wide range of effects on other cancer cells, including T-cell leukemia and neuroblastoma cell lines.
