Description

Methyl 2-(2-aminophenyl)acetate is a synthetic compound that can be activated with nanomolar concentrations of cyanide. It is a potent cytotoxic agent that exhibits minimal activity in the presence of cells. Methyl 2-(2-aminophenyl)acetate has shown to have antiviral and antitumor properties, as well as potential use in cancer therapy.
Methyl 2-(2-aminophenyl)acetate is synthesized by reacting an aldehyde group with a primary amine to produce an amide bond.
