Product Information
- Pyridine, 2-(5-methyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)-
2-(5-Methyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)pyridine is a ligand that binds to the benzene ring of the organic compound. The binding of this ligand to the benzene ring is noncovalent and results in a change in its geometry. This type of interaction is called an ancillary interaction, which is a term for interactions between two molecules that are not covalent bonds. 2-(5-Methyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)pyridine has been shown to have quantum efficiency when used as a light emitter in devices such as organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). It has been shown that this ligand enhances emission from OLEDs by up to 30%.
