Product Information
Methyl 3-amino-2,4-dichlorobenzoate is a pyrimidine derivative that can be used as an alternative to nitrification. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria in soil and water by inhibiting the oxidation of ammonium to nitrite and nitrate. This compound also inhibits sulfonamide degradation, which is an important process for the removal of nitrogen from wastewater. Methyl 3-amino-2,4-dichlorobenzoate has been shown to have a high efficiency in inhibiting the growth of bacteria that are sensitive to this compound.
