Description

2-Methoxy-5-methylphenylboronicacid is a boronate ester that can be used for the organic synthesis of diverse substituted aryl compounds. It has been used to synthesize the allylamine group in a stereoselective manner, which is an important process for the production of pharmaceuticals. 2-Methoxy-5-methylphenylboronicacid has also been used in cross-coupling reactions with chloride and histidine, as well as trisubstituted chlorides.
