Description:
Methyl3-methylthiophene-2-carboxylate is a nicotinic acetylcholine receptor agonist. It is a structural analogue of acetylcholine and has been shown to be effective in treating corneal epithelial defects caused by chemical substances. Methyl3-methylthiophene-2-carboxylate has also been shown to have anticancer activity, as well as an anti-malarial activity. The safety profile of this drug has not yet been determined.
