Description

2-Methylamino-3-amino-6-methoxypyridine is an amphoteric surfactant that can be used in the production of keratinous substances. It has been used as a surfactant, colorant, and additive in industrial processes. This compound has been shown to be reactive with ethylene oxide, which may lead to the formation of oligopeptides. 2-Methylamino-3-amino-6-methoxypyridine also reacts with acidic ph levels and other additives to form hydrogen peroxide (HO2) and hydroxyalkyl compounds. 2-Methylamino-3-amino-6-methoxypyridine is able to bind with 3 amino -2 chloro 6 methylphenol and form molecules that are capable of releasing free radicals.
