Description:
(3S)-3-Methylpyrrolidine is a vasopressin analog that has been shown to be both an agonist and antagonist at the vasopressin receptor. This compound was used in molecular modeling studies to optimize the binding of ligands to the vasopressin receptor, which is a G protein coupled receptor. The study showed that this compound had high affinity for the v2 receptor, but was less active than other agonists such as (3R)-3-methylpyrrolidine.
