Description:
5-Methoxypyrimidine is a chemical compound that inhibits the activity of methanol and ethyl formate by forming 5-methoxyuridine. It can be used as an intermediate in the production of pharmaceutical drugs. 5-Methoxypyrimidine has been shown to inhibit the kinase activity of many different enzymes, including tyrosine protein kinases, serine protein kinases, and threonine protein kinases.
