Description

β-Methylstyrene(Mixture of Cis-Trans isomers) is a chemical that can inhibit certain enzymes. It has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of the enzyme hydroxylase, which is involved in the formation of bile acids. β-Methylstyrene(Mixture of Cis-Trans isomers) has been used as a marker for identifying cancerous and pre-cancerous tissue in urine samples. β-Methylstyrene(Mixture of Cis-Trans isomers) has also been found to be an effective treatment for squamous carcinoma.
