Description

2-Methylresorcinol is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of hydroxyaryl compounds. It is a white solid with a molecular weight of 192.2 g/mol and melting point of 173°C. 2-Methylresorcinol has been shown to have anti-tuberculosis drug properties and is used for the treatment of tuberculosis, in particular when combined with other drugs such as rifampin or pyrazinamide.
