2-Methyl-4-nitro-5-chloroaniline is a heterocyclic amine that has been shown to bind to the receptor protein. It is also able to stabilize the molecule and produce a negative molecular electrostatic potential. 2-Methyl-4-nitro-5-chloroaniline has been found to inhibit the production of reactive oxygen species in cells, which may be due to its ability to form a dipole that induces cell death by apoptosis. The vibrational spectra of 2-methyl 4 nitro 5 chloroaniline have been studied using linear regression analysis with respect to cytosolic pH and pKa values.
